I don't think it is, it's mostly running around to music

King.

I met her at a school dance
Her brown hair, oh, it caught my eye
And by the spring we were dating
After a while it was a waste of time

She's just another girl like the others
I'm not changing for a thing

I'm the king of the world and you're the queen of the brainless
Please hang up the phone and we can end this

I started off in gymnastics. I hated having to compete though, even now in cheerleading I don't really enjoy nationals but I still do it. I think cheer leading is as much of a sport as any.

It's really just dancing to music, with a few flips and makeup.

I refuse to let them put make-up on me, sweating plus make-up is BAD for your pores. I work hard to keep acne at bay. I'll allow face paint and a little glitter..but NO make-up. XD

It's really hard to believe cheerleading is a sport because you don't see people in their 30's doing it for a living or people pretty much dying to be the best at it. it's more of a after school active. which there is nothing with after school actives

I somewhat agree. But it still takes tons of endurance like any other sport, you lift people, and you have to be pretty flexible. Frustrated

not really, because only some people do the flips and lift people up.
