Okay, many many times over the past 3 years I have said," I don't think we need anymore simple changes", and that's is exactly what they do!! Like changeing KW zone to profiles, simple things that shoud not be changed. 3 years of stupid little changes that I disagree with and I have had enough of no one listening!

The reason that small things change is that NEW users find KW difficult to navigate. You don't have an issue because you've been around so long. But really what does KW Zone mean to someone who has never ever been to the site before? It means nothing. Profiles, on the other hand, means... profiles!

Remember just because you know how something works doesn't mean that a new person will. We're changing KW to make it easier for the new people to actually use KW.

Honestly, I find these changes great - minus the fact that KW plans on completely getting rid of the old profiles. But, it IS easier in some ways, even though I've lost myself a few times.

my problem is the status messages they're soooo stupid i mean, "eating chips"??? that makes so sense at all cuz u can just finish a bag of chips in 5 miniutes!!!!!!!! y cant we just make our own status messages????

and y did they have to change the boards and site design..yesterday my friend with amnesia went to this site and said "this is the most boring site ive ever went to" i liked the sites old design better and when i say "old" i mean december 2007 cuz thats when i 1st came here and it was better than how it looks now no offense

The reason you can't make your own status messages is because we can't trust you guys to make appropriate ones. You guys demonstrate over and over again that you're willing to break the rules in whatever way possible. If we had to approve the status messages it would take so long that by the time it was approved you'd probably already be on a different message. Instead of complaining about them, why not suggest some statuses you'd like to see?

The other thing is that the old boards were bad news and were a problem both from a security perspective as well as a general programming angle. We couldn't do some of the things we wanted to do with them. So we made our own.

The site is about to undergo a MAJOR design redo to make it all special so don't judge it by what it currently is. Unfortunately design redos take time and you have to be patient.

How about like Emotions? I do admit that the status things are a bit cheesy, but I do see where your coming with the "being appropriate.". So maybe add a few emotions like "extremely happy!" Or "Happy." Or other emotions and such. Another: Listening to my favorite song[s]! Just some thoughts.

I have to say i like the boards and they are easy for new people to understand.
I don't find the sight boring but i didn't see the old one,i have to say that i do think it should be easy to understand.

I think Reading should be on the status thingy.

Status bars as they are - are waaay easy to use, because they don't take forever to load, don't need approval, don't blank out your profile, and are easy to switch!

The emotes idea is pretty cool, though ...
