So, I think that Chat should be open at all times in the day. I don't particulary go in Chat much, but I thought on behalf of the other users as well. I also thought that once you've clicked on Chat, you can click on a user, and you can have private chat with them, and no one can see your posts except the Moderaters. Oh and when you click on the user to do private chat it sends them a request to see if they want to. Please tell me if these could be done, or if they're just one of my silly ideas again. xD

That would be hard for the mods. Especially because of time zones. They have a life, not just on here, but in the real world. Don't you think that they should have some free time? I like the idea about private chat. I think it's a great idea. Once again, it should only happen when chat is open. Chat shouldn't be open at all times of the day.

Chat can't be open all hours of the day, because there's different timezones and the moderators mainly come from the Vancouver zone. Private messaging also is hard for the Moderators, because they'd have to check each message before it goes through to the person, and that'd be hard to do to every single chat user. Also, they could miss something, and it still goes through, so it's not safe either.  EDIT: These have been suggested before and they said no for the same reasons ^^

Chat being open all day and having private chat would be a lot of hard work for the moderators. I think people would just take advantage of the private chat and give out personal information. It would be cool if it was open all day, but that's lots of hours for the mods, and I like it how it is anyway.
