I don't know much about dress code since here we have uniform (I live in the UK). In my school the length of your school skirt is the issue. I vaguely recall one guy walking around in his vest one summer day and not a single teacher or member of staff said anything to him. i remember a day in year 8 when a girl came into class and the teacher loudly pointed out that she had to leave class because of her skirt and it's just horrible that she announced it in front of everyone because no one had a problem with it except for the teacher. also I don't think guys have a problem with it (it's rarely an issue and if it is how is this the girl's fault?? double standards wow) teachers just act like they do. I mean it kinda implies that wearing a short skirt is attention seeking and that's so old fashioned in today's society especially. I understand that people should look modest around school and i know rules are there for a reason but when i once asked a teacher why the rule was in place she said it was a distraction???
