Need advice for dancing? I know most of the dances and I am in the last card of competing so if you do, as me.

Highland is not Irish anyways if you were wondering. It is Scottish and a very cool dance.

umm ohk. getting desprate for a post it seems like...ya don't do that style of dance. truthfully I've never heard of it. =/

Highland Dancing is a form of dance invented by the Scots for various reasons, most of which were war related. Two are character dances (It is exactly what it sounds like, you act), four Highland (like, true Highland dances)(if you don't count each type of Reel), 8 National (2 are danced in a kilt, the rest is in a pretty dress called an aboyne) and 2 custom choreography (Cakewalk (It is SOOO fun) and personal or group choreographies, not in textbook). Competitions are awesome and most of the teachers out there (Including mine) are SO GREAT!
