Does anybody have any advice on how to keep ballet slippers (not pointe shoes) from sliding on a hardwood stage? I know hairspray works on jazz shoes but I don't want to use it on leather.

hmm..i also take ballet but when im on stage they never fall,its also hardwood,so maybe look it up on google?

My mom has a pan full of Rosin (sp?) at her studio. Its this powdery stuff you rub into your shoes. It really works.
