I believe children should have cellphones when they enter Middle school, so the parent could contact their child.

I think that a kid should have a phone when they aren't constantly near a parent, or an adult that the family trusts. That way, they can contact their families. I also think it's the TYPE of phone as well. If it's just a cellphone, then it should be given to a child younger than a cellphone with games, internet, etc.

Personally thats the parents decision. But to me its 10/11 cuz keeping a mobile phone makes you maturer. And especially when you move school at 11.

I Think the latest age ANYONE should have a cellphone is like 12. If you get a cell at any age after that, it's kinda weird Wink

I don't think you can put an age on this. It depends upon what the cost of the phone is, how responsible the person is, and how they're going to be using it.
