I think children should be given some home work on daily basis as this thing makes them responsible, and more concerned about their studies. But over burden is not good as well, as they also need some time to relax and play.

Homework (in the U.S., anyway) is worthless busywork 99% of the time anyway, and therefore worthless. Like the rest of the education system.

“Mutual caring relationships require kindness and patience, tolerance, optimism, joy in the other's achievements, confidence in oneself, and the ability to give without undue thought of gain.”

Couldn't have said it better myself.  That's why I've never gone to public school.  I've been homeschooling since kindergarten.  Though, I don't think homework should be banned, it just needs to be improved.

My whole goal in life is to get AlphaT to debate Teh_Skittlez as an Atheist and for Teh_Skittlez to debate AlphaT as a Christian.

lolololololololol

That awkward moment when you realize that you couldn't see that amazing debate because you're not old enough to see the P&R section... -.-

You learn stuff at school but homework is important for practice.

Its like learning a sport but never practicing it, you're not going to get any better and over time you might forget things you learnt initially.

If I learn something and I go home and do something else I generally just forget it, especially over holidays. Homework is important.
