However, I think that would probably be needed less and less if the right to marry was instilled in all states. What do you think? I think of all the horrid stories of "signifigant others" not even allowed in the room in a death situation simply because they are not "family". It breaks your heart. Sometimes compassion is tossed to the curb over rules/morals/religious beliefs during those moments that can never be replayed
I totally agree.... but that's why "caregivers" rights needs to be included. My Aunt and her friend have lived together as friends not as a couple for years and he has no one else but then when he goes into the hospital it's always a fight for her to get anyone to listen."-Allie-" wrote:
