No.. I say no because most kids at age ten don't have a phone. And what happens when they are at the mall and with no one and needs a ride home, and the parent didnt say what time they are gonna pick the kid up? Then if the kid is done shopping after like about one hour, the parents picks the kid up in three hours, the kid is alone. Plus, at night bad things happen more than day, and the kid could go get lost.... and without a phone, they could be out for like hours, days, weeks and even MONTHS! If you get me, you will understand.

No personally i dont. Kidz that young should be a kid. Not a teen. Or an adult. Enjoy being a kid for now! I wish i was 5 again! Lol smile

seriously people? My youngest brother is eight and he goes out by himself all the time. But I guess it really depends on where you live. We live in a safe place with army guys every where, so...

No they shouldnt be allowed...I mean it depends on where they live and how mature they are. My parents didnt let me go out even with a group of friends without an adult until last year because of the part of town I live in. I still cant go out on my own, only with a group of people, but that's fine with me, Im not trying to get jumped or anything ya know? You just never know what can happen.

I love it when you call me Big Poppa.

But why would a ten year old be shopping at the mall by themselves?!?!?
