Okay, this is just a little debate we had in our english class. Should mobile phones be banned in school or not? I go against, because we need phones in school, and we need to call our parents. But then, some people use phones as games, pictures and chatting randomly in classes. x] What do you think?

No, because you might have to call someone to get home if you miss the bus cause you your in the bathroom. You shouldnt have them out in class though.

No, sometimes you need your phone..to call your parents. I have a lot of sports practices and we need to keep in touch.

If you had an extreme emergency at school like you were in the bathroom having an asthma attack and you couldn't get up then you would have to use your cell phone. Like me. I almost died due to an asthma attack and that's what i did. I had to call someone to come and get me. Thank God that somewhere was there. That's why cell phones should not be banned in school.

Yes because people would text all day long. Sure, if you had an extreme emergency, it's always ok to use it but IT SHOULD NEVER be used in classes. Isn't that ruining the learning experience? I dunno, that's just me.

Well my school has banned cell phones, but then a phone rang in someone's locker right smack in the middle of science class and near the STAAR test!

For everyone who says we need them for emergencies.. How many true 'school emergencies' are there where you can't go to the nurse and/or call home using a teachers/the office phone? What? Like 2? Exactly. The last thing we need is even more idiots due to not listening in class. But hey, let them fail. Because someone somewhere is probably dying at school and can't find help. -.-
