Hmm, well I am 13 and I have a phone. I think you should have a phone at any age if you are not always with your parents. Even if it's just going to a sports practice, you still need a way to communicate to ask you parents something for EG.: if you want to get a ride with a friend or go to a friends house. These are simple examples.
