Do you know Simon Greenleaf? Well, he was asked to put Jesus and the resurrection to the test and based on the evidence it was all true. And if it weren't then the Christian faith...well, it wouldn't be. But it is. Would you die for your god, would you die for a statue? Well, millions have died for their belief in Jesus Christ. How can you not believe?

People die a lot. People die from malaria.

I actually believe quite strongly in Malaria, but I really don't want to start worshipping it.

People die for alot of reasons. People die for their country alot too in war. People die from drive by shootings. And I'm getting tired of the whole statue thing too. People don't worship staues.

I believe strongly in the idea of gravity, but I wouldn't tie a rope around my neck for it. If I had a choice on what to give my life for I'd give it to save another person's not to try to prove a belief I have no actual evidence of. If I die for my faith I will never be able to help another person again. There is a thin line between martydom and suicide.

True, but malaria isn't a god.

yea they do! you've never seen a Buddhist statue? Well, they're there. Sometimes people worship their toys or game cubs or whatever when they put them before God.
