I asked one of my Christian friends if he could go trick or treating and he got all freaked out. I would like to know why Christians don't like Halloween ( preferably Christians to answer ) Oh, and please mention if you celebrate Halloween.

halloween was supposedly the day that the evil spirits came out before all saints day(november 1st). the early pagans dressed up so the spirits wouldn't recognize them and torment them. now, it is the sacred holiday of wicca. i've never heard of the davil having a birthday, because I assume he was created on the same day as the rest on the angels. although there weren't really days at the time, since earth wasn't around, and there was no sun.

Why is dressing up as power rangers and bob the builder demonic and evil? I don't find that harmful.
