And now for something completely different.
Politics and Religion
A question to Christians.
ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'
THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'
FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'
FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'
SIX: 'You shall not kill people.'
SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'
EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'
NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'
TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'
Those are the basic ten. Then Deuteronomy has some as well as the infamous Leviticus. Timothy has a few notable ones about the facts that women aren't allowed to cut their hair or wear pants. And how men are shames if they've got long hair.
Leviticus, as abbiimarie13 said has LOADS! It has all of the rules that a good christian/jew (Leviticus is in the old testement) should follow. Most of them relating to marital relations.
Edward: When I walk down the road this is what I see
Bella: Edward, please.
Edward:Everybody stops and stares at me!
Edward: I got sparkly skin and I dont like to show it, show it, show it,
Bella: Think of Renesmee, she doesnt want a father that flaunts himself!
Edward: Im a Cullen and I know it!
More rules, though.
"And Peter said unto them: Repent, and be baptised, every one of you, for the remission of sins. And ye shall reicieve the gift of the Holy Spirit." -Acts 2:38 I think it goes something like that, I'll have to look it up. Anyway, most people only go through with baptism, which doesn't work, if it matters at all, without repentence. And even if you go through with baptism and repentence, you're not doing it right if you don't ever receive the Holy Ghost, or the gift of speaking a language of God that even you don't understand. You're a goner....
