Me, I don't believe in church but I believe in Christ. But not all the facts about Christ. Okay, what i'm trying to say is I have trust in Christ but not in church. It has a big difference for me. And I think there's nothing wrong if there's atheist and other non religious group, in my opinion. That's all, ^_^

In Direct words, what people understands by religion is God. And what I understand by it is an unreasonable God........

in deep inside, Religions are recognition of moral values. It brought a philosophy that controls people's actions. It contributed in development of us........

Christianity is a philosophy. A funny philosophy which was invented by the early primitive people to explain the world around them. And Ultimately, it contributed in development of Philosophy.. Though, Christianity is funny , we no longer need this philosophy......

As we both are mutual "Christians", I disagree with you. Jesus wanted to destroy religion, (hence the letters from Paul & Timothy to the Ephesus, Corinthian, Galatia, and other churches) -- all the books written by Paul, Peter, and Timothy.

Jesus created "Christianity" to become something about him (Hence; Christianity), not about the selfish desires people had. Religion brings nothing but selfish desires of the heart to get back at Muslims such as the U.S., through war and through Political Status, or other stuff such as the Prosperity Gospel. Christianity should be very rationed when talked with Politics, not necessarily completely ignored. (Matthew 23)

Your faith in Christianity shouldn't be valued at your moral values. Those are all important, yes. But because of you being a Christian, it should make you want to do that, not because you have to, but because you want to. Not because you have to earn salvation, but because you want salvation. Does that make sense? (Read Colossians 2, in context, Paul is speaking to the Colossian Church on things that apparently 'win you salvation") salvation is freely given to you.

It doesn't take a Christian to have moral values. Otherwise, the definition/value you are putting on Christianity & Religion is just like what pretty much every American, Christian or Atheist, agree on.

I grew up in a Pentecostal Church and it brought me to hating church. They taught a false identity of who Christ is, and what he did on this planet.

Then I realized it's not about what I hate, it's not about what I don't like, it's about what Jesus commands. The Church is the Bride of Christ. Imagine if I had an older friend who got married to his wife, and I said "Hey bro, I love you and all, but I hate your wife!" do you know how much of a slap in the face that is? (Bro = Jesus), (Wife = Church) -- 2 Corinthians 11

Before I left, I laid out a really unclear view with what I saw in the church, but I am glad I left knowing they had another reason to re-valuate their beliefs. I then later on once I got my permit, I found the right church. Not every Church is perfect, but keep in mind when Jesus comes back, he's looking for a church without a "spot or wrinkle", which analogies how Merciful he is, but also how the church is subject to be judged.

hello, I'm an Atheist Agnostic Deist.

to become something about him...u again think about it from another view....

Religions are something created for development.....if fish has a God, then that God must be a great fish....

Ultimately, Religions are recognition of moral values. "religions".

exactly, Atheists are the people who have better knowledge of moral values. I haven't said nothing about Chirstianity though.

"Religions arose in very primitive times from erroneous, primitive conceptions of men about their own nature and external nature surrounding them. "

We don't need religion. The whole original idea of it seems to have gotten lost in the woodworking anyway.
