That is what's happening right now. Evolution happens slowly overtime; right now human women, as a species, are becoming slightly shorter, having stronger hearts, and entering menopause later. If you'd like examples of relatively recent human Evolution from the past, I gave you the example of the lactose mutation."AlphaT" wrote:

Well, since you're asking for the last time, I'll tell you about how humans, specifically women, are evolving right now. In general and unless something drastic happens to change this, human women will be two centimeters shorter, have stronger hearts, and enter menopause around nine months later in ten generations. I'll throw in another example of evolution for free, the spread of the mutation which allows adult humans to digest lactose."Thane" wrote:

Okay Uh..I have my own beliefs. I believe in god. Umm...I know they're just trying to tell us stuff about like the Big Bang Theory and Evolution so they can tell us all about how the world was REALLY created. I Believe in God so therefore..I think God Created the Earth. I have no problem with Atheists but when they try and make people understand their way of how the earth or world was created..it makes me think it's kinda unfair. I don't really care if this gets locked..so talk about it...

Evolution is basically just the change in a species' gene pool overtime as a species deals with its environment and struggles to survive, some traits that aren't helpful die out, while others that are helpful take over the population. That's a fact."AlphaT" wrote:

Everyone is technically a "mutant" because we all have about sixty mutations, nearly all of which do nothing. Anyway, all adult organisms besides humans are incapable of digesting the lactose in milk. All humans used to be incapable of digesting it too, until a mutation appeared in Northern Europe which allowed us too. The majority of humans still can't digest it, but now around 40% can. See, that's Evolution."AlphaT" wrote:

A prediction is not evidence, it is a prediction. Mutation and evolution are 2 different things, Mutations are hereditary 'mistakes' for the lack of a better analogy. Mutations do not spread, they aren't contagous and are seldomly passed from one generation to another. X-men wasn't an accurate depiction of mutation. The ability to digest lactose is something to be considered on a individual basis of a person's digestive system. You may be able to warp others with that, but if you make a claim at least provide evidence, don't spitball pseudointellectual crap."Alexithymia" wrote:

Depends on how you interpret how she was using Mutation and/or Genetics with the situation."Thane" wrote:
