So my whole entire life everyone has made me something I'm not, and just these past couple years I found out who I really am. I was raised Christian and I always thought I was. Now, I don't know. God, doesn't make any sense to me. How did God get there? In Genesis 1:1 it says In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth. It doesn't say how God got there. So supposedly he was just a floating man (or fish if you believe in evolution) just sitting in a world of black who thought, "Hey, I think I'm going to make me a friend and a world to live on" I asked my preacher how God got there and he said, "He just was" meaning he was just there creating things which makes 0 sense. I think people created God to know when they die they have somewhere safe, loving, and eternal happiness to go to. To comfort them about never being able to see there family again. I don't know how we got here, or where we go when we die, but I don't think it's God.

Just know you're not alone. I've found that alot of younger kids simply mimic what their parents tell them for years, until they get older and have lives outside of the home. They start to express free will, free thinking, and the ability to research what is right for them. Good luck on your search.

That's how I feel.  It makes no sense.  My whole life I was raised Christian, but now I'm not so sure.  I've been debating a lot about gay rights, and I'm totally for it, so seeing in the bible that God is against being gay just pushes me away from my religion.  I have tons of gay friends, gay family members, and favorite gay celebrities.  I find myself offended at the fact that the bible says God is against it all.  I honestly don't know what I believe anymore.

I don't understand how the bible says no man is different from any other and should be treated that way no matter what they believe and it's a sin to treat them differently. Then it say unless your gay, then we hate, which is leading to suicide! Kids kill themselves because they're what they think they shouldn't be! That's not right!

An Atheist is someone who doesn't believe in any gods. This included Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, or any religion that has to do with a god/dess/es
