Yes, they do. If you think the bible should be used as a "moral guide", you're wrong. Christians almost NEVER follow the bible anyways, just because they don't feel like doing half the things in it, and they actually change the book to satisfy their own stomachs, because they don't use it as their moral guide. Are we having people being burned at the stake, beheaded and flogged today? No, we aren't. Why? Because Christians don't use the bible for morals, or do anything it tells us to do in it.

anyways according to me holy books do tell us morals but satisfying the Almighty so according to me it has no connection with morals of any kind Frustrated

Hmm u gotta point. I do believe in Jesus, i believe in him seriously. I was jus agreeing to the point that not all Christians follow all the rules Frustrated

@Sun That's not even relevant to what I'm saying. If god gives me a set of unreliable information and a history of a religion filled with terror and genocide, I'm not too tempted to go back to believing in it just because a man named Jesus died on a wooden post.

I do agee we all ahve mrlas, btu i disagree with you said that we shoudlnt use the Bible as a moral guide...morals can be wrong Im prety sure Micheal Myers, and your morals are conflicting.

It's okay, because God should have already taken me out via locust swarm quite some time ago. See that pesky section about following your own moral compass and trusting your own common sense?
