Express Your Faith
Talk with others about your beliefs. Discuss your religion but no trashing other peoples religious views. Please be respectful.
I want my coffin to be black and gothic...
Heh.. The ground is cool. :3
With all my heart, I know I will go to ####, for I believe in no god, I believe in no king, no land.
Selfishly, I believe only in an ideal, I believe only in goodness for all, I only believe that the world is poorer for every good deed unrealized, but also more impoverished for every evil that leaves it unredeemed.
With no faith in a god, but only in the goodness of mankind, I would rather go to #### than live in the heaven of a god who would demand faith in himself instead of faith in oneself.

But then again...you have to figure faith in oneself comes through faith in God.
Thats why Jesus came.

And exactly that, sir, is where you are wrong.
Anyone, no matter how consumed and surrounded by darkness, may see the light of goodness, without having ever set a single gaze on the bible.
To have faith in oneself, only comes through one's undetering hold on one's self-made truth, a truth not given by a god, a truth a god may only teach, but not grant, for it is for every follower of goodness to find for oneself.

Nope.

Sir, if you wish to change my opinion, and that of anyone else who reads this, then I suggest you present arguments, because otherwise I achieve victory in this debate by default.

You do not know such things.
“I see it all perfectly; there are two possible situations — one can either do this or that. My honest opinion and my friendly advice is this: do it or do not do it — you will regret both.” -Søren Kierkegaard
Good sir, are you merely answering the thread's question, or interjecting into the... conversation between sir AlphaT and me?
