So, My mom and I have totally differnt taste. That is fine and I don't mind until she starts  yelling. She wants me to wear things like what she used to as a teen but that isn't what I like. She was a tomboy while I'm very girly. I like skirts,shorts that come above my knees, dresses and stuff and more fitted clothing. I don't want skin tight clothes but I don't want to wear loose stuff either. She wants me to do things that were in style when she was a teen. I get that she doesn't want me wearing alot of makeup and stuff and I don't. I want to be me. It's not like i'm wearing bright colors that look crazy or dark colors that make me look goth (not being mean) but stilll...thoughts????

I'm not too sure what this is like because me and my mom are like exactly the same style. But i'm sure id you just explain to her that you to have different styles and that stuff isn't 'in' anymore she should understand. Hope this helps. Good luck!
