Okay, so I'm 11 years old. I have basic first aid training, I know CPR, and I have read SO many books on how to handle kids. I love children, and I have two younger cousins who I love, who are infants and I usually take care of by myself. I would love to make some money off of it, but my sister says that people wouldn't hire me because I'd be too young. But I'm going to be 12 in August, and I'm quite responsible for my age. What should I do?

Start out with one person, babysit for them. They'll see how responsable you are, and start telling other people about you, and so on.
But, really, you shouldn't be babysitting until you're at least 14. People make mistakes, even if you are responsible you are still young and young people do stupid things.
I'm extremely responsable, and I'm relied on by a lot of people. But yet, I still was irresponsible enough to let my bird die in the way she did. Anyone could have made the mistake I did. But younger people are more prone to those kinds of things because we are young.

:33 Thanks guys.
I guess I could try with one kid first, and keep going like that, and then once I'm older I'll decide what to do ^_^

I'm 10 and my sister is 8 so we get a babysitter sometimes  Embarrassed and she is 16.  I would not want a babysitter that is only 3 years older than me

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. But I'm talking about 6 year olds and stuff.

They're even worse, they can actually run, and get into so much more then babies can.

I know.. I love babies so much! But I'm terrified they'll start crying, and then no matter what I do that they won't stop.
