It's really your choice and if you feel like you're ready.  Also, talk to your Mom.  Does she think you're responsible enough?  And also maybe ask her how old she was when she babysat.  If you both agree that you're responsible enough, then go for it!  Ignore what your sister says.  It never hurts to try!

My whole goal in life is to get AlphaT to debate Teh_Skittlez as an Atheist and for Teh_Skittlez to debate AlphaT as a Christian.

It's great that you're going into it with proper training.
If I were you I'd start off small with maybe one kid that you know well, then once you turn 12 start venturing out to taking kids you maybe don't know. 11 is pretty young for a babysitter and a lot of parents would hire someone older out of priority. Just take your time with it. Don't take a workload that's too heavy for you. c:
