I am a 15 year old girl and my mum refuses to let me shave my legs. It is very embarrassing at school as everyone dissaproves of you if you dont shave your legs. The problem is i have asked my mum so many times if i am allowed to do it and she always says no. Please Help Me !!! What shall I do ??

Just forget about it,everyone's mom has different opinions. My mom and my dad doesn't even let me!! thats way more crazy coz my dad's not a gurl!? But besides that, maybe it's because of your religion? or is it that most moms of my mom's (gfz dats wat she says) think that when you shave your leg,the hair will grow thicker :$ what ever it is don't care what ppl say,coz who knows their might be some who is way more hairy...not being mean to anyone who is lol

If you're really desperate about shaving your legs, you can get this painless wax strip thingy, they work really well, i had the same problem a couple years ago

Oh, so I think your mom is trying to say that what is the point of shaving your legs? You don't HAVE to show them. When you are older, then shave them because right now, your hair WILL grow thicker. I saw this girl and she does it and her hair grows really quickly... on her face she does it. It is your choice but you do P.E and people see them but always wear leggings then. Then don't worry. -.-

   yeah and i wouldn't use that "no no" stuff it burns up your pores and if you want more comfortable wax use choco wax. but thats weird im 12 and my mom lets me shave me legs... we because they are hairy-ish (and i kept bothering her)

You are WAY to damn old to be walking around with a leg full of hair. So, I guess you should shave them anyways and make it clear to your mom that your not a little girl and people are making fun of you.

Thats ok everyones parents have diffrent ways risaing there kids.And dont let other kids tease u. Its not like u chose not to shave. Shaving your legs isnt what defines u as a person.When people tease u just ignore them.And shaving isnt all that great u cut yerself and lots of times itll leave scars. You can also get razor bumps.Oh and the hair u shave grows back faster, thicker, and darker.So just give yer mom time and dont keep asking her alot cause that just makes her wonna keep sayin no so if u accept the no more than likely shell let u shave sooner.
