My step dad is such a total pain! He's always with my mom and i never get to actually be with her, or talk to her either. At my house, it's always a competition between me and him. He always get more food than me, but i eat a lot more than him! I mean that i asked my mom "Why did you marry him?", and she said "Because he's nice.". NICE?!?! A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN BE NICE! OUT OF ALL THE THINGS SHE COULD'VE SAID ABOUT HIM, AND SHE JUST SAID THAT HE'S NICE! I usually don't really care about anyone my mom marries or dates as long as they stay out of my way. But this guy is all up in my face saying "No internet, phone, or TV if you don't wash the dishes everyday.". I mean this guy just married in this family 2 months ago, and now he thinks he can tell me what to do! And the worst thing was that my mom was there too! She just agreed with what he said. And guess what? He has 9 kids!!! I couldn't believe it myself!!! But i saw the family picture!!! And it is true!!! I just be silent (most of the time) and he comes up to me when i'm mad at my mom. And then he acts like the black Dr. Phil. I can never get a break!!! Please write or comment back before i really kill this guy!!!

Hi, well I think you should tell your mom what you really feel and be open about it and if you feel comftorable about it just tell your step dad what you actually feel. I mean it seems like he doesnt want you in his life! So be open about your ffelings to your parents it might help!! Do you have siblings real siblings not kids from your step dad? Because if you do then talk about it with them! And if you are good friends and get along and like you siblings from your step dad then telll them how you feel! Well thats my advie for you! Add me and maybe i could help you out some more! Well i hope this works!! (:

Talk to your Mum about how you feel. It may just be that for the first couple of months of being married, wives and husbands want to stay as close as possible, it's probably nothing to do with you. If he's getting more food than you, you really need to talk to them both about the amount of food you're getting. As for the doing the dishes, it's a household chore, and I sometimes have to do them, so saying no internet, phone or TV is pretty usual, I think. 9 Kids, huh? Maybe you should ask one or two of his kids whether he treated them the same as you? Maybe you could all bond and help eachother? I hope you're all okay soon.
