My austrailian shepard, Jewl died on Friday 13 when she ran too fast and her heart stopped. My family is depressed about the loss and she was only 10. My parents bought a german shepard to cheer us up but I hate them for trying to replace Jewl. I hate Coke (The german shepard) too. I just feel angry and sad. What do I do?

well I know what is is like to have dog's to die I have had 3 dog's to die I am sorry,have you told them that you don't like it that they are try to replace the other dog?

maybe you should learn to like the new german sheperd i mean it cant help it that its there and it probably is feeling lonely that its not getting attention. It won't ever be able to replace your old dog but if you love a new one you will be able to move on and not feel as sad everytime you think of your old dog

I'm really sorry to hear that your dog died. There isn't really much you can do except think of all the good times you had together.

I've had this happen to me, before. You can't hate the dog, they aren't trying to replace Jewl, they are trying to kill the pain in their hearts. Don't blame the dog. Coke was bought by your family, and didn't have a choice in the matter. It's really unfair that you blame the dog! You need to realize that animals do die! And if a new one comes, its NOT a replacement! smile
