Ugh, Im only 13! I'm already a teen!! But my mom still treats me like a BABY! I don't wanna be treated like one, when we cross the street mostly she holds my hand and my friends are around and It's embarassing ! When we go out to shop for clothes she gets childish clothes like Hello Kitty and iCarly stuff and I'm not into that stuff . I LOVE my mom It's just I wanna show her I'm all grown up now.

Sit down and talk to her. Dont be mean about it juat say you are older now and you wanted to be treated older. Tell her that you love her. And she is just being protective.

You need to tell your mom that you are 13 years old, and at this age, girls are more into music than kids TV shows; so tell her to buy you nicer, puffy and thin clothes. Not jumpers and pink stuff. iCarly isn't really childish. If you saw some of the episodes, they include immature words like - Immature stuff! :3 When the squirrels were fighting, they were actually doing something... else! xD And slowly tell her this. You are 13. Teenager. Teenagers wear? Young adult clothes. And so what if she holds your hand? You are still young. You might need to be held on to until your mom can trust you. Maybe she loves you. Here is an idea, hold shopping bags, that way she can't hold your hand. Or just have earphones on, and when she tries to hold your hand, pretend to fix earphones on your ears or something like that. But, don't hurt her feelings.

I know a lot of people whose parents hold their hands; it doesn't classify you as a baby, she probably just doesn't think you're responsible enough yet, but if you tell her how you feel, she might change her mind. Tell her that you don't like Hello Kitty and iCarly, and that you're not into it.
