Darren nodded awkwardly, his face red. He pulled off his pants when Jay left, and tore the rest of it off before jumping into the freezing cold water. It felt nice, but hypothermia didn't. He wouldn't stay in for long.

Jay's urge to look was increasing as he sat there, staring at the tree. What was wrong with him? Was it curiousity? Or was it that he liked Darren so much....He shook the thought out of his head, picking at the blades of grass on the ground.

Darren ducked under water and came back up, scrubbing the bajesus out of his hair. He could feel the pent up dirt and sweat on his scalp. It was gross. He went back under water and rose shaking his head. He ran his hands down his body and tried to get as much dirt off as he could.

Jay, hidden by some bushes, couldn't help himself. He snuck a quick look over his shoulder and nearly stopped breathing as he saw Darren run his hands down his body. He looked away, his face heating. He then mentally slapped himself, and almost did it for real. Stop invading people's privacy! He thought to himself, hiding his red face in his hands.

Darren ran his hands over his face and tried to get rid of the gunk he felt in his pores. "God, I miss soap," he muttered to himself. He went under the water again, and scratched at his head.

Jay sat there fidgeting, waiting for Darren to be done. He willed himself not to look again and he stared at the tree. The image he had just seen was imprinted into his brain. He twisted a blade of grass on his fingers, swallowing hard.

Darren finished and got out of the water, shaking off. It was hard to dry off without a towel. He shook his body, trying to get as much water off as he could. He then used his sweatshirt, ran it across his body to get the last water droplets. He pulled on his boxers, and then his pants. "Okay," he called. "I'm done."

Jay swallowed once more then got up, making his way over to Darren. He stared at the ground the whole time, trying to keep the color of his face under control. He shoved his hands into his pockets, his shirt thrown across one shoulder.
