Eve did fall off the window when she heard the blast. She zoomed over to the others to make sure nobody was hurt. It seemed everyone was okay. "Whats going on?" Connor was close behind her.

"I'm finished!" Lucy said, grinning. Ava was still in shock, because of the liquid that went inside her, but she was still alive and well.

"Uh. Where is my cupcake!? I said I wanted golden sprinkled. Hehe! You'r a pretty girl!" She felt woozy. She stroked Lucy's hair. Then she snatched it away again. She recovered. She coughed anxiously. "Sorry..." Then she walked away, trying to hide her laughs.

Lucy watched and waited until she was sure Ava had left.
"I'll tell you how it worked, no interruptions. The red stuff that went into her forehead, that targeted the Cerebrum part of her brain. What it did was make it so, in any serious situation, she expects the worst. Like, worser than worse, and then when everything turns out better; even if it is still bad, she will  think is good. Its not really luck, just pure science, is all."

Connor looked at Lucy confused. "Doesn't really sound like science to me" he said grimacing.

"Physiological science, if you please." Lucy walked past, without looking at either of them, twirling her switchblade around in her fingers. "I'm off to kick someones butt. Later."

Eve and Connor exchanged a weird look and followed her.

"You guys are following me," She said nonchalantly, waving her knife wildly in front of her without turning around.

Eve smiled and shooed Connor away. She caught up with Lucy and slowed her pace. "Well seeing as how last time somebody ran off with a knife today they ended up on the ground in a pool of blood I just was going to make sure you weren't gonna do something idiotic."

"Oh please," Lucy said, smirking. "I'm not really gonna go kick someones a- butt, that's just an excuse to leave."
