"I don't care much for the law, pipsqueak. This is private property - you better run along", Valerian responded, flashing a dangerous grin; he and Damian moved to stand in front of the house door, sensing Chantrea still beside them. Jasper followed behind them, watching the stranger with shrewd eyes before he took a momentary glance over at Carlise.

Alice walked into an empty bedroom. She noticed a dial. She turned it as the bedrooms changed magically. The room changed in size, Shape, and color.

Catherine watched Valerian from her perch in the tree with amusement at his defiance.Shay was already in her palm, just a few more and she'd be in power once again. Two days left before you die, the voice persisted in her head. She faltered slightly, but ignored it. She opened her palm to reveal the money she'd stolen earlier. "Shay," she whispered. Shay appeared at her side wearily. "Yes?" she asked impatiently, fed up with Catherine's little games.
"Make sure everyone is on the boat by the ice."
"Why?"
"Because. Go on, do it. Or your trust is broken."
Shay glared at Catherine icily, her intense eyes piercing holes through Catherine's head. "Fine," she muttered. She jumped down from the tree, and went to Arc. "Arc?" she called tiredly. "Arc?"
She couldn't find him anywhere so she left a note in his locker.

Hey Arc. We're going on a trip tomorrow, could you tell the others and make sure they're all on the boat by the ice by six PM? Thanks, Shay.

Alice counldn't decide. She left it blank. She walked through the empty house. Finally she walked outside so she could think about it.

Shay slipped a copy of the note to Arc into Alice's locker, hoping she'd come quickly. Hesitantly, she hovered by the door, but thought better and drifted off, hearing Catherine's echoing cackle in her ears. Tonight, Catherine will die. In my hands, Shay growled quietly, danger lurking in her eyes.

Alice walked back to school and opened her locker. "whats this" she said to herself. She silently read the note.

Alice took a picture and sent it to the rest of the gang.

Shay held her breath as she saw Alice open the folded, crisp paper. She disappeared behind the school, leaning against the bricks, waiting for the response. Just another hour and Catherine will die, she promised herself silently.

Alice looked over a Shay and nodded.
