Alex and Tara walked into the tent carrying platters of fruit. A man was sitting in a chair being fanned by another slave. "H-here is your d-dinner sir," Tara stuttered. Alex bowed as she handed the man her platter. She rolled her eyes as he slobenly gorged on the fruit. It had been almost 2 months since they were captured. She remembered every detail. The fire they set, they all rushed out trying to escape. They grabbed her and her sister. She hadn't seen her parents since.
