No one ever really thinks about where it comes from, not unless you attend the university. At the university we are taught only three things: How to control the elements through names they are given, the basic principles of staying alive with only nature as our support, and the stories that are passed down. Some may think it is okay until the stories begin, because they seem so childish. But what most don't know is that they are not just stories, but warnings passed to our generation to support us if it is ever needed. Not many can get into this school, only those with brains or those who have enough money could attend. To get accepted with either of these two you need to impress the Masters of the school. You may get on the good side of some and others will be your enemy from the start, you decide that fate. Will your survive the years to graduate? Name: Benella Crinamorte Age: 30 Description: Benella, despite her cold attitude, has many pretty features.  Her eyes are big and brown.  At one point in her life they were golden, but since certain events they have become dark and cold, yet inviting and surrounded by thick lashes.  When in a dispute they seem to brighten with her fiery mood and always hold whatever emotion she's feeling.  Her nose is small and of mid-length, slender and with a slightly upturned end.  She has full, plump red lips and high cheekbones that support rosy red cheeks.  She's of pale, ivory-like skin which contrasts with her wavy, almond brown hair that reaches her mid back. She ran away from her noble home in her city at the age of 20 after her father had proposed a marriage of a nearby citys' nobleman, an inconsiderate gesture as her betrothed had died a year earlier.  She found the university and, meeting the requirements, became a Master, though the thoughts of her past tend to keep her preoccupied and cross. Name: Ceasar Paduo Age: 17 Description: He's got tan skin and muscular features.  Since he spends any free time outdoors and riding horses, his arms and legs are well built.  He's got a long, slender and very carved, almost statue-like nose.  He's got dark, olive green eyes with somewhat teal looking flecks embedding in his irises that only come out with the correct lighting.  His eyebrows are busy and flat-lined, about a centimeter and a half above his face.  He's got nice lips and chiseled cheekbones, with a naturally dark skin tone. Father's Name: Jakob Occupation: Archives, Natural Environment Other: He came from a simple family, the family supported off of his father's income.  He always had an interest for learning though never had the money to; so he studied his hardest and his work led up to entrance to a separate school, where he learned the basics of proper men.  From there he was granted entrance into this university, and is currently in his second term. Name: Eeldi Age: 12 Description: Greyish white hair, only slightly longer than her twin brother's.  She bears the same facial features as him, though doesn't usually wear the same smile as her brother's.  Hers, though the same at first glance, is usually spunkier and with a tad less modesty.  She's a few centimeters shorter than her brother, also. Other: Jev's twin sister, she mostly controls water, as she was born with the natural gift.  She has a very short temper, like that of a five year old, and tends to be slightly immature. Name: Vot Age: 30 Description: He's got dark, ash black hair.  He usually ties it back to keep it out of his way, showing off his chiseled facial features.  His nose is longer than average, though perfectly made, like a statue's.  He has nice, handsome lips that widen out and give off a wolfish smile.  His eyes are a reddish, copper brown that seem to burn with flames if stared into directly. Other: He had attended the university when he was around 16, but was kicked out three years later. He controls fire mostly.  Name: Hal Age: 22, though it is unknown to everyone. Description: His usually shrouded face is very handsome.  He's got the brightest, iciest blue eyes that often wear a distant look, though they can register just about any movement.  He's got a nice, wonderful smile and high, feminine-like cheekbones.  His hair is blonde, slightly shaggy and covers his ears.  It's razor-cut and jagged at the ends.  He's got a slight frame, also, with pale skin and long legs. Other: He doesn't talk, he doesn't hold back when he is told to do a job, yet he somehow finds a way to keep from hurting to many people that get involved. He controls the forgotten elements of light and dark.  He usually hides his face from people he's not comfortable with, usually with a hooded cloak.

Keyon's hands worked fast as he placed books back on the shelf, moving down the row and placing a few more back on the shelf. " That's all of them, scriv, finish the requests for now." he said, glancing at one of the students who worked in the library part-time. Tyus placed the pen down as he finished signing the last of the admissions forms. " That's all for today, please file these accordingly." he said, handing them off to his assistant before he made his way out of the meeting room and towards his own office down the hall. Ameilia finished paying her months rent for the room at the tavern, glancing around.

Benella ran her hands through her hair, propping her elbow up on the table and resting her chin in her palm.  She had been grading essays all morning and her head had throbbed from the moment she woke.  It would be another hour until her next class arrived and she had a handful of heathens she absolutely loathed in that group; she needed something to better her mood and that wasn't grading papers.  She dropped her quill and moved the stack of parchment aside, standing up and leaving her office in need of fresh air.  Striding through the halls, she kept her gaze on the large iron doors leading out into the courtyard. Caesar had just entered the small, student-run tavern and was overwhelmed with the smell of ale and wine that hit his nose.  Though there weren't many other students in the room, the place smelled strongly of drinking.  He supposed it was just the aftermath of the other night as he walked up to the counter and ordered a drink while he fished out some silver to pay for his rent, the one thing that wasn't paid for by the university.

Keyon made his way past the few desks for the students to sit at and study, his face emotionless as he made his way down the stairs behind the scriv's desk, soon taking the hall to the last door, his own office. Tyus stopped only a few feet away from his office, looking out of the window. He watched the students run around outside, some seeming busy with their own studies, others talking with friends. Amelia made her way to a small table in the back, sitting down to wait until the food she had ordered was done. It wouldn't be much of course, just a bowl of stew and perhaps a fresh half loaf of bread served with a mug of cider.

Benella walked out into the open courtyard, glancing around at all of the students mingling though she didn't approach any.  Instead she walked over to an empty bench and sat, closing her eyes and letting the sun pour over her face.  It was a good decision to get away from the confinements of her cramped classroom.  Opening her eyes and taking a look around, she spotted a familiar face in the window and gave a slight motion meant as a wave toward her fellow Master, Tyus.  But she didn't look in his direction for long, instead moved her eyes to a group of students horse-playing a few yards away, "Cut it out!" she said crossly, "There are classes going on in some areas, mind you." Caesar paid for his drink along with his rent.  He took the mug of ale, softened with water so he could keep his mind clear for his classes later, and took a seat at one of the empty tables.  He took out a quill and parchment half filled with awful yet legible handwriting and continued his work, thankful it wasn't due until next week as he only had half a page of his 4-paged essay on the question 'when is it right to kill a man?' for his Archives class.

Keyon ran a hand through his light brown hair, his gray eyes going to a pile of papers that he had collected earlier from one of his classes. He made his way to his desk, sitting down and starting to go over the papers, making marks here and there with his pen. Tyus only gave a small nod before he glanced at the few students now in the courtyard. He turned, making his way into his office, stopping short as he spotted someone inside. " Its rude to come inside without waiting first." he muttered, though made his way towards his desk, not giving the person a second look. " You brought the list?" he asked, glancing up finally.

Benella broke up the horse-playing with a sigh as the students went away grumbling, undoubtedly dreading the time her class rolled around.  She let out a huff of disapproval and walked around,  greeting a student that didn't get on her nerves and holding a quiet conversation with the rich, polite young man before he had to excuse himself.  She took a breath of the clean air before she decided she ought to get back inside and finish her work before class started; she would prefer to have time later in the evening so she could let herself to a pleasant supper. Caesar couldn't concentrate on his work.  He didn't know if it was the drink that pulled his thoughts this way and that, on anything but his work, or if he just simply couldn't concentrate.  He decided to put his work up for later and glanced around.  He was on of a few students in the tavern; one he recognized from Archives, the others were a group of Alchemists conversing together over a lesson.

Tyus listened to the man speak, though it was in the northern language, which barley anyone knew except for the masters and a few students. He looked over the paper, which was also in the language. " Good, I'll get back to you once the day is over with." he said, giving a small nod and a wave, the man leaving soon after. Keyon glanced again at the papers after a while, almost half done. He ended up heading back up the stairs as the scriv could be heard arguing with another student. He made his way up the stairs, listening to the argument for a moment before making his way over. Both students went silent, looking at Keyon. " Take it outside, Scriv Lensi, you can take the rest of the day off without pay. I have told you before, do not disturb this area." he said, his voice emotionless all the way through, " And you, you will not be allowed back in here for at least one span (a week)." Amelia sat back in her chair, watching the ceiling for a long time as she waited. She had alchemy next, something she didn't dread, but never did look forward to.
