I thought of this, for some reason, after seeing the PV for the Vocaloid song "Cantarella" and have no idea why. ----------------------------------------- In a town in New York, there is a place almost like a castle that has a ballroom and hosts a dance class every afternoon. Every evening there is a masquerade ball held in the ballroom, and the members of the dance class must attend to show what they've learned. But the main rule is to never reveal your identity. Recently there has been a chain of murders. Every night someone else from the large dance class disappears. The next day their body is found, and there's not a single trace of who did it. Everyone assumes that the murderer is the same person and just has a grudge against the dance instructor, but the instructor has no idea why. Every day the police come in and question the students. Every day the answers are the same, until one day one of the instructor's male students says something that shocks everyone. "I saw a girl being taken outside. Then she never came back." Name: Elizabeth "Liz" Steele Age: Seventeen, turning eighteen Gender: Female Looks: Liz is around 5'5'' and due to her high metabolism, is extremely skinny. She has terra-cotta hair that tightly curls into ringlets that surround her face and reaches her shoulders, her hair is constantly frizzy. Liz has pale, rose colored skin that is dappled with light brown freckles, she also has very rosy cheeks. When Liz blushes, the blush does not go away. Her steel blue eyes appear huge on her thin face, along with eyelashes that almost touch her eyebrows. Liz has a small, slightly point nose, and naturally pink lips. Her upper lip is very thin compared to her bottom lip, Liz's two front teeth have a slight gap between them. Liz's ears have been pierced since she was little, but she rarely ever wears earrings. She has a tattoo on the left side of her abdomen that, in cursive writing, says, "I'm what time and consequence have made me." Costume: While in class; Liz wears no makeup (she never does anyway) and a long-sleeved, black cotton-polyester leotard, along with a blue mid-thigh skirt of the same material. Usually with two inch shoes specifically for ballroom dancing. Liz wears her hair in a loose bun. While at the ballroom dance; Liz wears little make up, only a strip of eyeliner on her top lip that makes a dramatic line on the edge of her eye. Her dress is an off-the-shoulder, shiny, silk black dress that fits perfectly against her torso and then gradually loosens and gently extends outwards until it barely grazes the ground. There is a floral decal that wraps around the waistline of the dress. Liz carries along a small handbag that is about the size of a softball and has a strap to wrap around her wrist.  Her hair is in loose curls, but slightly pulled back so she can see. Liz wears a simple black mask with a few black feathers outlining its edge. Abilities: The power of memory. Liz has a photographic memory, she can remember down to the detail what she sees, but that is all. She can also "erase" memories, but not entirely, the memory is still hidden in the recesses of that person's mind, so it can come back to them.  Weapon: Typically weaponless, but will occasionally carry stiletto knives in her handbag. Other: Liz lives alone with her cat, Wolfie. Also, from current visits to her aunt in Europe, Liz can speak some German. Liz does not like being so small, she feels as if she is too frail for her strong personality. The murders anger Liz, rather than frighten her. She feels as if that no evidence is being found because the police force is a bunch of lazy pigs.
