Elizabeth sat in her bedroom, as there was nothing to do.  She sighed, her long face looking out of the window.  Why couldn't she be a child once more?  She loved to run and play, but now, that wasn't "acceptable" for a queen.  She watched the dogs scamper in the garden.  She sighed once more before there came a knock at the door.  She lifted herself off the bed and walked to the door, placing her hand on the polished silver door knob and turning it.  She pulled open the beautiful mahogany door to see that there was no one there; only a letter.  She bent down, her corsetted chest heaving.  She reached a sleeved arm out and scooped up the paper.  Elizabeth opened it and saw that the shipment of new dresses she was fitted for were to arrive any day now.  She closed the door and tossed the letter onto her bed.   She slumped down beside it.

(No, I think it makes more sense for him to be the prince, and then he becomes king when his mother dies...That way I can change the roles to match.)
