Name: Caroline Age: 15 Personality: She kind of keeps to herself, she never fit in at all no matter where she went. This causes her to be quiet and calm, but when she get's angry... Bad things happen. Looks: Caroline has very short brown hair that had red tips. Her eyes are a grey, blue color. She's thin and of average height. Ever since she was little there was a tattoo of a tree on her hip. Other: Caroline is a witch, but she has no idea. She is an orphane, and had been jumping from house to house, but recently ran away and is living on the streets. Her powers peak themselves out when she is mad, or sad, but she never really realized it, or put it together in her head. You start Big Grin

"Artemis!! It's nice to wake up!!" My grandmother, Helena, yelled. I jumped up and ran to the shower, keeping it 5 minutes long. I never disobeyed my grandmother. She was my mentor in magic. I jumped out of the shower and got dressed in a gothic looking black dress and high heeled boots. I blow dried my hair then brushed it, clipping my bangs to the side. I put on some makeup and stared at myself in the mirror. I had a blue crescent on my forehead, then it trailed swirls and music notes all the way down to my chin. I got it at 8 when my powers came out. The mark of a witch. It was beautiful.

Fwwooooooosh!! The sound brought my out of my sleeping state as a large red semi truck went speeding past the tree I had been sleeping to soundly in. I sighed and rubbed my eyes tiredly, looking around. The sun was just hardly rising, meaning it would be time to start exploring once more. I was in a new town today, and I slowly lifted my green backpack from a brokem tree branch. I climbed down the tree and rn my finger through my short hair, flipping it lightly into style.

My grandmother came in behind me and placed my Amulet around my neck. It was a gift from the Goddess artemis herself. It shone against my pale skin. "A warrior of Lady Artemis. I am so proud." She whispered, a smile on her wrinkled face. I smiled and turned, kissing her on the cheek. "I shall return soon." I whispered. I grabbed my basket that was filled with candles, herbs, insence, and matches. I walked outside and weaved my way through the city of New York. People stared of course. I made it to the woods and placed my backseat down, sitting in the soft grass of my favorite meadow.

I ventured somewhere outside a large city, I'm not sure what it was, I stopped paying attention to my location a long time ago. I adjusted the straps of my backpack on my shoulders as I climbed over fallen logs and between standing ones. I opened my eyes when I reahced a meadow and noticed a stream, deep at one point. I set my backpack aside and then folded my clothes next to it before sliding into the cold water.

I made a giant circle around me with the candles and lit them all. I used magic to adjust the wind so it wasn't so windy. I lit a few insence and then burned some herbs. I laid down in the middle of the candles and folded my hands over my stomach, closing my eyes.

I swam in the cold water, all of it engulfing me. I slowly dunked myself under, holding my breath and closing my eyes. I felt like I was in a different world, and then got a warm feeling in my heart, I saw a girl, lying in a meadow like the one I was in, currounded by candles... I was connected to her. I quickly came up for air, taking a deep,gasping breath as I did so. I looked around, unable to see over the tall grasses, and I ran my fingers through my hair, glancing at my clothes on shore.

All I could hear was the whisper of the tree spirits. They were welcoming me, as they always did. A smile came upon my dark red lips and I whispered in their language. I felt happy. I felt like I was at home.

I had a feeling of being home, like I belonged, but I quickly shook my head and climbed out of the cold water, grabbing a small towel out of my backpack. I dried off before getting dressed again in my only other outfit. I had one pair of black pants, and then a red tank top, or a black one, along with a single black vest. I liked the cold, so I didn't need a jacket.
