Riku looked down at her noticing her strange behavior. He placed a hand on her shoulder and stopped walking. He crouched down and lifted the bangs away from her forehead. "Hey, are you OK? Are you sick? Do you have a fever? I can take you to the nurses office if you don't feel well."

Kiku froze. "U-Uh, no, I'm fine." She said quickly, nodding and laughing nervously. "I-I...have a test next period! Y-Yea, I'm just nervous about the test!" She said hurriedly, completely forgetting they had the same schedule. In her head she screamed at herself, not sure at all what to say. When she got shy or nervous, she babbled. A lot.

Riku looked at her in confusion. "That's funny... I don't remember the teacher saying anything about the test?" For a few minutes there was an awkward silence. "Or did he?" he asked, mostly to himself. "Aw man. I didn't Study either. I guess we're both in trouble ha?" he said laughing nervously.

Kiku sighed in relief. "Y-Yea, that's why I'm so nervous. Oh! Here we are." She said hurriedly, walking into the classroom. It was the one class she didn't have with her older brother, so she quickly walked to sit in the back.

(I'm brain-dead. =_=) Riku sat down in the seat next to Kiku's. He leaned forward and whispered so the teacher and rest of the class couldn't hear. "Hey, if we don't do well, we could be failing-buddies and seat-buddies!" he joked, chuckling lightly.

(I'm sorry. D: ) Kiku laughed quietly. "Y-Yea..." She replied, using a whisper voice like he had. Biting her lip nervously, she tapped her foot and waited. Then the teacher went on, calling role and then starting the lesson. She sat there quietly, hoping Riku wouldn't ask about the "test" she had lied about. She felt bad about lying in the first place, but she had to do something!
