Praise the Sun
Entity: The Butcher
Looks: She is below average height for her age, with a very thin physique from lack of proper nourishment. She has black hair that reaches to about the middle of her shoulder-blades. Sophie is a very pale girl, with her skin being a grey-white colour her face and exposed skin will always be covered in smears of some kind of dirt or blood.
Wearing: (all her clothes are dirty/damaged, her tights have holes in, her coat has tears in it, etc) A Red dress that comes down to about her knees, she wears black tights which have a red ribbon wrapped around and eventually tied in a bow up one leg, she is wearing very plain, black shoes. She sometimes wears a tattered black coat (more tattered than the rest of her clothes) over the top.
Personality: She is very emotionally introverted, although often displays her emotions through talking to the marionette doll that represents her sister. She expects others to feel the same things as her and can't understand how they can cope with letting others continue existing. She's essentially very lonely, but she stopped being sad about it a long time ago, sadness like most of her emotions just merge and melt into anger at either herself or others. She does still feel glee and happiness, often during the unleashing of her anger on others.
Trinket: Two Marionette dolls, identical apart from the condition they're in. They're dressed in red and black dresses. (one is very dirty and looks unloved, the other is meticulously clean and well looked after)
Powers: Acid-Spit-thing, Simple (at this point) blood control, higher speed/dexterity, increased strength, very very simple (and presumably quite weak?) light constructs (I presume she can make something like a blade?)
Other: Sophie was one of two twin sisters in an orphanage, the only item she and her sister really owned were the Marionette dolls, one day, her sister leaves her Marionette doll with Sophie for her to continue playing with while she has to go "Talk to some people" because the adults at the orphanage need her to. Her sister is adopted, and never comes back, Sophie waits, alone, in the dark room. The voice begins talking to her, she becomes very withdrawn, playing by herself with the Marionette dolls. Unable to accept her sister not being there Sophie starts believing her sister is the Marionette doll she used to own, she talks to it, using the other doll to represent herself sometimes, she's truly lost her grip on what is real and what isn't at this point. Eventually, one night after some awful things happen at the orphanage, Sophie walks out covered in blood and a kitchen knife in one hand, all of the adults have been killed in their sleep. Sophie continues to spend the rest of her life alone, with nothing, in the dark. She begins, or rather continues to hate those who have more than her, which in her eyes is everyone. The male voice in her head and her marionette sister are the only things she has and cares for. Her doll reflects her mental and physical condition, constantly dirty, and looking damaged despite being structurally strong. Her sister's doesn't have this same connection, but is kept clean by Sophie because that's how her sister looks in her head. Sophie gets angry, very angry. In fact, she's always angry, but it isn't the loud obnoxious shouting and screaming, it's like a poison that eats away at you from the inside, a subtle and truly malicious form of anger, like a spider luring something into its web only to slowly and cleanly cut it into pieces then throwing away the remains. She kills because she can, her only real reason is a general dislike of everything and everyone else. She hates them all because they're there, and she hates herself because she has to be around them. Sophie often moves like a marionette doll, swinging her arms through the air as if they're attached to strings, walking awkwardly on her toes and swaying for side to side as she does so. Because of this her movements are rather fluid, and she is quite flexible/dexterous.
