Nope! Though I got the spelling wrong. it's actually call casu marzu. lol. It's a cheese from the island of Sardinia in Italy. The cheese fly maggots can actually launch themselves about 6 inches (15 cm). Some people remove the maggots because of it, though most say it tastes better with the maggots still in.

Oh thats okay xD lol that fact is interesting and weird. in my bio class i read about maggots and stuff but i didnt know its used in cheese and ppl like it XD wow this world is interesting.

Most people are. Though bugs, as i said before are really quite good for you. With maggots you have to tread carefully though, as some can bore through your intestinal wall and do a lot of damage. Cheese fly maggots are fine though, eaten live they are killed by digestion.
