I have a huge crush on my best guy friend, which I've had for seven years now.  I feel like I'm walking on thin ice with him, like every move I make or every word I say will automatically make him not like me or like me.  Does anybody have any tips on what not to do around him or how to get this feeling washed out of me?

Because you're feeling this way, you might as well try and say the right thing every time you converse with him. Otherwise you might become uncomfortable with every word you say to him, which might or might not ruin your relationship. A good thing to do - when you're sure that it's the right time - is make the first move. Love isn't always the guys decision. It's difficult to forget about the one that you love.

That's good advice, but he already knows I like him.  And he says he doesn't like me back, but he acts differently around me than he used to.  Is it just my brain trying to decieve me into thinking I actually have a chance with him?

It's either that, or the fact that he feels the same way. It could go either way. Or maybe it's his way of dealing with those who he knows likes him. Sometimes, if I find out that somebody 'like's' me, I start to act all weird around that person. It's quite hard for me to tell, you would have to see which direction life leads you. It's near the edge of impossible to forget.

Be yourself, no matter what. Hang out with him and if you do find yourself nervous just breath and keep looking in his eyes. Try to keep talking to him but not too much like your his stalker. Also if you do see him staring at you start looking deeply into his eyes for a second then smile and look away.
