My best friend Jenna, and I have been friends for 5 years. She knew I had brain cancer and she supported me through it. We were together all the time. Then I went to a doctors visit to see how the cancer was reacting to the Kemo. It was helping for a while but then the cancer took over. I was going to die from it. I couldnt tell Jenna. How am I supposed to tell her that I am going to die in 7 months. I knew eventually I would have to but I just couldnt yet. We were hanging out one day and she brought up the subject of our sweet 16 parties. I looked down at the ground when she said it. She asked what and then I knew I had to tell her. I told that the doctor said that the kemo wasnt working and I started to cry because I knew she would. I told her I had seven months left. And burst into tears. I said Im sorry over and over again. She hugged me for about an hour. she slept over that night and the next. She told me she was afraid to leave.
