Sony is expected to announce Playstation 4 at the New York event tonight.

I think I'll just wait for the solid details to become revealed before I consider getting it. I also need to know what the new Xbox will bring to the table as well.

I probably won't buy any of the next-gen consoles straight away though. There's always chaos when a new console first releases - loads of bugs, not many games etc. So I'd just wait until it all settles down, find out what games are going to be exclusive to each one, and then make a decision from there.

There's even rumours going around of a 'Steam-box' console to be made by Valve to enter the competition. And even one that could be potentially made by Apple.

So yeah, I'm playing the waiting game. Yay.
