Four of the most true video game easter eggs.
HeckValleySkyTrees Super Mario Galaxy 2
Some mysterious figures in Shiverburn galaxy that can be found while looking up and left. If you look closly, they are 3 figures often mistaked for trees. But, someone found out that these are a feature in a scraped beta level called BeyondHeckValley. They seem to follow Mario, and if you look up and left anywhere in the level, you will continue to see them. You cannot even hack the game to get close to them, because they are textured to always be at a distance from Mario.
Luigi's Suicide In Luigi's Mansion
During the blackout while Luigi is on the phone when lightning strikes, it looks as if the shadow Luigi was hung. This may be how the in-game camera looked when Luigi is on the phone, cauising the shadow to float off of the ground.
Ghost at the end of World 4-4
When you get to the end of World 4-4, don't jump on the flagpole. Go to the end where the fence is, and jump on the fence. Wait 30 seconds, and it will appear. It fades away quickly, and it only happens once. (you can retry) This works in all Ghost Houses. (It looks similiar to HeckValleySkyTree)
Princess Daisy May Be An Alien
Though this is not an official easter egg, it seems very realistic. In 1989, Daisy was kidnapped by an alien named Tatanga. There is no telling what could have happend ed during that time. Soon, she started appearing in sports games, and she became strong, where she could fend for herself. Which is weird due to the fact she was kidnapped so easily. In Super Smash Bros Melee, if one had the Princess Daisy trophy, zoom in the back of her head and under her hair. You can see a blue eye, with no eyelashes. It was said to be by an accident, but still. Since Daisy became strong, and had a third eye, she may be an alien.
