Hai guys c;
I'm new at roleplaying and i'd like to get a few tips. I have tried it before, merely twice, but i guess it wasn't that good. Anyway, anything i need to know about roleplaying?

Here is a tutorial~

Someone: 

Helene's eyes go wide. She gasps and steps away.


Someone else:

"Oh my gosh," Vanessa's hand is over her mouth.


You should give your characters good names, but not ostentatious, overly exotic and garish names. Also, don't make a Mary Sue or Gary Lou. You should make characters with the just right amount of flaws and good components. DON'T say "u" or "ppl" or "gr8". If you want, I'll practice with you.

Also, don't be god modding or power-playing. If your confused by terms:

Mary Sue: Someone who is absolutely perfect and is without fault and does everything perfectly and is sooooo Bbeautiful and gorgeous and righteous.

Gary Lou: Male version of Mary Sue.

Power-playing: Using unnatural abilities in a roleplay.

Steve breaths fire on Jake and burns him to a crisp.

God modding: Controlling other people's characters.

Casey puts his leg out and Marissa trips.

And if your looking for an rp to join, I have one for you.. It was meant for experience rp'ers, But I'll make an exception.. just so you could get the hang of it and rp with people that've been doing it for a while..

Thats kinda how I learned.. I ended up rp'ing with a lot of people that were good at it..
