The boyfriend and best friend of Amber Lawson are devasted by her tragic death.

The best friend, Abby Goodner, falls into a depression and begins to cut as a way to relieve the pain.

Jamerson sat in his bed questioning how she died. He had yet to figure that out. It also seemed like Abby was hiding something from him. Jamerson let out a sigh of anger and flipped onto his side. "What the hell?" He said to himself.

Abby sat beside her window, looking out into the sky. She looked at the stars, and realized she was crying. "No. No crying. You've got to be strong." She thought as she looked down. Her new injury had stopped bleeding. "Amber, why. Why did you leave me...?" Abby whispered to herself as she treated the wound. When she was finished cleaning it, she got up and sighed. Maybe a walk would ease her mind. Grabbing a jacket, she slipped out of her room, down her stairs and out into the chilly night.

Jamerson stood from his bedside stretching. "I'm gonna go see Abby." He said to himself as he rushed out of his room grabbing his coat and going down the stairs. "Bye Honey!" His mother yelled as he left.

Abby walked down the street. She was looking at her feet, when she finally looked up, she was two blocks away from her house...at the park where she and Amber played together until middle school. Abby walked over to a wooden bench near the sand box. Abby looked at the back of the bench, and there is was. AL + AG = BFF. Abby smiled and supressed her urge to cry. Still smiling she walked over to the swing set and sat in a swing. By then, she couldn't hold it in and was sobbing.
