Fourteen kids. One superstore. A million things go wrong.
This roleplay is based off the book by Emmy LayBourne.
Your mother hollers that you’re going to miss the bus. She can see it coming down the street. You don’t stop and hug her and tell her you love her. You don’t thank her for being a good, kind, patient mother. Of course not—you launch yourself down the stairs and make a run for the corner.
Only, if it’s the last time you’ll ever see your mother, you sort of start to wish you’d stopped and did those things. Maybe even missed the bus.
But the bus was barreling down our street, so I ran.
Six high school kids (some popular, some not), two eighth graders (one a tech genius), and six little kids trapped together in a chain superstore build a refuge for themselves inside. While outside, a series of escalating disasters, beginning with a monster hailstorm and ending with a chemical weapons spill, seems to be tearing the world—as they know it—apart.
-Ask to join. If you post your form with the question, you will not be allowed to join. When you ask to join, please specify the character you wish to play; i.e. unpopular high schooler, eighth grade tech genius, or little kid.
-Romance is allowed, but this is kids site. Remember that. If you write anything not appropriate, I will ask you to leave. I have yet to do that, but I am not afriad to kick someone out of the roleplay.
-Be courteous. There is no need for rudeness here.
-If I tell you that you can't join, don't throw a fit. Delete your posts and leave the forum.
As it says above, there are only fourteen characters in this roleplay. If you wish to play more than one character, you can not play two from the same section.
i.e. if you're playing a high schooler, you cannot play two. You can either play a high schooler and an eighth grader, or a high schooler and a little kids.
The little kids can be anywhere from kindergarten to fifth grade.
Some of the high schoolers are popular and some aren't. We all can't be one or the other.
