A gasp. She lifted herself up quickly, out of breath. Her nightmare would really be coming true. School was starting again. She ran a few fingers through her hair, tugging at the knots. She finally had brunette highlights in her blonde hair, yet it wouldn't help out anything at school. She was now nobody. Was she ever somebody? She'd been pulled into gossip, rumors, everything she'd vowed to herself not to get into. Why did she? She wanted people to like her. Too bad everyone knows she started rumors. Now she was just 'that emo girl'. She used to be 'preppy', you could say. Things changed. She pulled on a pair of red skinny jeans and a Nickasaur! shirt. She slugged herself over to the bathroom, swiped on some mascara and eyeliner, brushed her teeth, and called it a morning. As Callie walked down the stairs, slowly, slowly, her dad just sat there. "Get out, please," he said in his loud voice. Callie bit her lip, feeling her lip piercing, and sighed. Her dad was never accepting. She rushed out of the house, and took her sad, lonely walk to the dreaded high school she was about to face.
