They wouldn't let me stay in the hospital room with him so I had to stay in the waiting room. I say down, head in my hands and I sobbed. Was Ambrose right? Should I have let Ashton die?

I woke, and for a moment I stared questioningly at the room, before tears came to my eyes once more, and I lay there, in pain, the side of my face buried into the pillow as I gripped the sheets. I started to get too loud, and the nurses had to come in and drug me up again, and while I quieted, I still lay there bawling.

Even if the castle, burns away to a crisp, if the decomposing bodies, are one day nothing more, eve if my secrets, one day lose their allure, even if the gold, one day turns to dust. The doctors came in and said that I could go in there. I got up and walked in there, sitting down next to him. I slowly took his hand. "Are you okay..?" I whispered, years in my eyes.

I had a blank expression on my face, and I was pale. It took me a while to realize October had come in and had asked me a question, but even then I had no idea it was October. The morphine they had given me made me delusional. "I'm fine Lila.." I murmured, smiling softly at October. I felt something was off, that this didn't seem like Lila. "Wait... You're..." I thought for a moment, tears returning as I remembered everything. I hugged her arm as I sobbed, apologizing like I'd never see October again.

I leaned back and watched his face carefully. "Okay..." I said softly. I took his hands in mine gently for support in case he broke down.

I started to explain it, and after a while, I was doing everything in my power to not cry again. "In the end,after r**ing her, skinning her alive and scalping the holy hell out of her while I watched, I spent months being assaulted and mentally abused. After a while, I thought no one would ever come to my rescue, of course I was wrong, I was found by the police when the guy drugged himself out and died in front of me a week before... I was bedridden for so long after that, a major wreck. I know how to slip handcuffs, I know I could have slipped that rope.. but all I did was watch! I watched her die! I was the reason Lila was a pile of rotting flesh when they found me!" I sobbed. From so much movement, my wound had opened, and the doctors came rushing in again, giving me yet more sedative and painkiller as I squirmed weakly, begging them quietly to let me go as they tried to sew up my wound again, agony in my eyes.
