Klaus cringed when he heard the words, but relaxed a bit when his reassurances reached his ears, and even managed to smile a bit. "I am nervous, in fact, extremely nervous, but I know it will be okay, for sure." he said softly, glad that he wasn't lying that time.

Kaun glanced at Klaus, wondering what the boy was thinking. He felt like he was an imposer, tearing Klaus from his own life. He watched the road again, sending quick glances at the boy once in a while. He sighed, and pulled his hand back. "You don't know if you want ths." It wasn't a question, but it wasn't accusing either.

A long silence passed, before out of nowhere, Klaus silently commanded, his tone strong but quiet, "Stop the car." he growled, looking at the other with narrowed eyes.

Kaun did as Klaus told him, slowly the car down before pulling over and putting it in park. He looked over at Klaus as the other glared at him. He wasn't even sure what to think. He didn't even know Klaus could make such a noise.

Klaus kept the tone he had before, not faltering, and starting talking again. "I'm certain about this. I'll follow you to the god damned end of the Earth if I have to, not just to get away from my tripped out family, but because of the man right next to me. Got it?" he said, fists clenched.

Kaun's eyes were wide, watching him. After a moment of silence, he snapped off his seat belt and leaned over the center console, pressing his lips to Klaus's forehead. He sunk down, their foreheads resting against the other's. "I'll stop bugging you then. I just don't want you to feel like I'm making you do anything. I want this to be one hundred percent your choice."
