Jake looked at the people around him. Once he spotted Leslie he told himself he was not going to let her out of his sight. he heard Gretchen begin the games. "This is crazy!" he shouted, feeling angry towards the witch.

Leslie ran over to him. "Don't say that! You'll get killed!" Gretchen took them outside. There before them was a forest, with lush green trees and a river flowing through the middle. Beside the building, there was a stand, with arrows and throwing knives and a bunch of other weapons.

Jake realised leslie was right, and that right now he had to do everything in his power to keep them safe. He had to be strong for both of them. He took anther look at the other kids around them, and spotted the weapons stand. He then looked at Leslie. "I can't hurt these people. I just want us to be safe."

(I call the throwing knives XD) James followed close behind them, and glanced at all the weapons. So they really thought we're going to kill each other. "Guys, we have to stick together." He hissed.

"I know. But there has to be a winner, and she'll make sure of that. Let's just try to win. I don't want to do this either, but we have to do it. Let's stay as low-level as possible. "Of course." James replied, studying the other teams. Most of them were about his age, and none seemed incredibly strong or even confident. "First grab the weapons, and look out for other teams grabbing theirs."

Jake was disguisted but knew Leslie was right. If they didn't end each other, the witch would probably just do it herself. "She's right guys. Lets just be humane about it, and try to give each other some time to prepare." He knew the only way he could ever kill one of these people was to do it out of self defense for him or leslie. "Alright, lets go pick out some.....weapons, Leslie." he almost hesitated using the word. He began walking over to the weapons stand

Everybody rushed toward the stand, grabbing the best and most expensive weapons.The only thing left on the table was one beat-up bow and arrows set. She picked it up. She had no idea how they worked. Gretchen had got the pairs to spread out, so no team could see another. Leslie new she had to be careful, one of her friends could be of in the distance and she could accidentally hurt them. She heard a buzzer go off, and the games begun
