I guess when you know someone as long as I've known Bruce, you can tell when they are telling the truth, and when they were lying. He was absolutely telling me the truth, with every ounce of himself to give, but how could I just say this was okay? It was barely a fight, and he went to a party to make out with some ohter girl. How did I know he wouldn't do it again? I shook my head slowly,"Figure it out, but until then, leave me alone,"I said quietly, strangely serene. I then closed my locker and walked away.

I sighed, and sat on the floor near her locker. I didn't want things to end this way. I still wanted to be hers, and for her to be mine...There was nothing I could do, though. Because no matter what I did, it wouldn't matter. I picked up my books and headed to class.

"Has he done anything? Flowers? Chocolates? A funny card? Anything?" Our friend Kristan asked as we sat in French that day. I shook my head and looked out the window, noticing the P.E class that Bruce was in. I sighed,"Nope... nothing. I want to forgive him, but I don't think you know how bad it hurt to see him lip locked with that girl... He better get creative, or something..."

I pouted, sitting in gym, losing participation. I didn't know what to do. Everyone was going to look at me like I was a cheater or something. And then that other girl...the one who I kissed. Sitting there grinning at me, as if it was funny...

The day was painfully slow. We usually caught eachother in the halls between classes, or sat together at lunch. Today, I took new routes, hung out in a classroom during lunch... I stood at my locker after school, and growled loudly as everything came falling out. I sat on the floor, collecting my pencil, pens, and other school supplies.

"Need a little help?" I asked, kneeling down next to her. I had to stay after school for math tutoring, as usual, and passed by. I looked at her softly, hoping she wouldn't shun me or tell me to get out of her face.

"Yeah... Thanks,"I said quietly, keeping my eyes on the tile flooring. I was going to treat him like every other person. I gently took the collection of writing tools from him and set them back into my  locker in a small pocket.

"Wait..." I said, taking her hand before she began walking away, and not letting go. "I...I;m not letting you go anywhere until you forgive me."

The grip he had on my hand kind of sent this weird feeling all over and I just couldn't shake it. I looked up at him slowly,"You are going to be late for tutoring..." I would change the subject as much as I could, because I honestly didn't know if I had forgiven him or not.

I took her other hand and looked at her, in her eyes. "I don't care." I said softly, trying to seem serious. "I messed up. I don't want it to end like this. I was weak at the moment, and the whole time..I couldn't stop thinking about you.." I tried my best to make sure she wasn't ignoring me. "Sara....I love you. I do..."
